Ribbed Knit Camisole and Cardigan — Seven Home Looks

September 25, 2026

Seven home looks built around one ribbed knit set — a camisole top worn with a matching long cardigan and a straight skirt cut from the same yarn — in oatmeal, dusty blue, wine red, ivory white and forest green.

The camisole is fine-gauge rib knit through and through: two narrow straps crossing once at the back under small covered buttons, moulded cups carrying the same vertical rib, a narrow ribbed binding under the bust and a short hem that stops just past the rib line.

The cardigan falls straight from the shoulder into wide sleeves gathered at ribbed cuffs, with a thick ribbed collar around the back of the neck, a patch pocket at each side and a hem stopping above the knee. It is worn closed from collar to hem in the four colourways, and left open down the front in the three oatmeal looks.

The skirt rests high on the waist under a ribbed waistband and drops to mid-calf with a narrow slit at one side and a rolled edge along the hem.

The shoes are the same pair throughout: slim champagne-gold strappy heels with three narrow straps drawn up from the sole across the instep and wound once round the front of the ankle, closed at the side with a small gold buckle, a fine high heel and a closed toe.

The jewellery is a thin wooden pendant on a fine chain and a slim matte bangle at the wrist.

The settings stay indoors: an old city terrace above the rooftops; the stairwell of an old apartment building; the corner of a bedroom beside a tall window; a linen sofa in a bright living room; the end of an apartment hallway; the floor of a study lined with low bookshelves; and the entry of a flat with a low timber cabinet and a tall mirror.
